Travel With Me To: Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal

I really enjoy going to museums.

There’s just something about museums that I enjoy going to them.

My sister and I went to Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal, which is the Montreal Museum of Contemporary Art. I forgot how much it was for the museum but it is cheaper for students. I believe it might be 15 or 10 for students, I’m not too entirely sure. Street parking is available. I didn’t see a parking garage around so you might have to park at a lot a couple blocks away and then walk to the museum.

I was a little disappointed because the museum is rather small. From the photos and the buildings outside, I honestly thought it was so much bigger, but nonetheless, it was a great museum.

The museum is on the second floor after you buy your tickets in the lobby on the first floor. Everything is honestly aesthetically pleasing to look at. I love contemporary art and I enjoy learning about it. There are numerous rooms in the museum because they like to give their art space and in case there are a lot of people. Each room is spacious enough for a lot of people so to be honest, I didn’t feel overwhelmed. There were a lot of people and a tour going on, but it didn’t get too crowded. There was enough space for everyone to move around and not be in anyone’s personal space.

All the artwork was interesting to look at because you get to see things in a different perspective and you get to learn about the talented artists as well. None of these photos do the artwork justice but I recommend going to this museum. The artwork is phenomenal and it’s really great to see!

I felt the same way too when I saw the animals, but I don’t think it’s meant to be offensive or in a harmful way, or I hope it wasn’t meant to!
