Ipsy: July Review

Ipsy: July Review

Love receiving my monthly Ipsy bags!

I was really excited to get my July Ipsy bag because look at this bag, it’s so cute! I think it’s adorable and I absolutely love the color! I love wristlets/bags that stand out because if I were to loose it, it’d stand out and I’d be able to find it easily.

The products that I received this month are Beau Gachis Illuminator Brush, Jersey Shore Cosmetics Mandarin Green OIrange & Ginger Mongongo Lip Conditioner, Ciate London Wonderwand Gel-Kohl Hybrid Liner in Black, Nomad Cosmetics Illuminating Highlighter in Midnight Sun, and tarte cosmetics Amazonian Clay Waterproof Bronzer.

The first product I used was Jersey Shore Cosmetics Mandarin Green Orange & Ginger Mongongo Lip Conditioner. I used this right before I applied my Kylie Cosmetics Liquid Lipstick and this product worked like a charm. Kylie’s lipsticks always dry out my lips but when I applied this lip conditioner first, it made my lips moisturized. My lips weren’t dry for the remainder of the day and my lips weren’t cracked anymore. I completely recommend this lip conditioner for anyone who has dry or cracked lips. 10/10.

I then used Ciate London Wonderwand Gel-Kohl Hybrid Liner in Black. I used this for my waterline. I like using pencils or liners for my waterline and liquid eyeliners for the top. This was a great product because it comes with a brush on the other end of the liner, so if you mess up, you have a brush to fix it. It was super easy to apply and it didn’t even smudge. I think this is a pretty decent liner. It’s black like how I like it and it was easy to use. I give this an 8/10.

I used the tarte cosmetics Amazonian Clay Waterproof Bronzer as a highlighter. Even though it’s a bronzer, I used this as a highlighter and it made my face look amazing. The highlighter went perfectly with my skin color but it also made me glow. I love highlighters because I love glowing. This lasted me about a few hours. It didn’t last me through the entire day so I was a little bummed out about that but I do love the shimmer. I give this a 7/10.

I used the Beau Gachis Illuminator Brush with the Nomad Cosmetics Illuminating Highlighter in Midnight Sun. I know the brush isn’t supposed to be used for this highlighter but I did it anyway. I used this brush to highlight my brows and my nose. The brush is extremely soft and it was super easy to get the product on my brush. Applying the brush on my skin was easy to. I didn’t really have any problems with my brush. I’d give it a 9/10.

I love the Nomad Cosmetics Illuminating Highlighter in Midnight Sun. It doesn’t go well with my skin color but I love the color anyway. I love how bright it is and how it makes me GLOW. I love highlighters that make me glow. I want to blind bitches (haha) and this did exactly that. It lasted me throughout the day and I just think it’s a perfect highlighter. I give this a 9/10.

Overall, I was satisfied with this month.
