Travel With Me To: Our Miami Hotel

Our hotel room in Miami at The Savoy got upgraded for free! We tried to check in 3 hours before check in time but we were told that the room wasn’t ready yet for another hour but we can upgrade for an extra $45 a night. We said no, left and came back an hour later. The guy at the front desk thought we were getting upset and annoyed so he upgraded us to that room he tried to sell us FOR FREE. We weren’t even upset – we literally just wanted to check in, haha. But we’re not complaining.…

Travel With Me To: Quincy Quarries Reservation

Last September, I decided to visit the Quincy Quarries Reservations because I kept seeing so many photos of it on Instagram. Quincy is about a 30-40 minute drive from where I live. My boyfriend and I decided to visit this place in the morning. We left around 10AM on a Saturday morning. The traffic wasn’t too bad. It was pretty quick getting there. If we were to have gone on a weekday, then we would have been stuck in traffic. There weren’t that many cars there. I only saw about 3 but that’s probably because it was early in the…

Travel With Me To: Montreal Museum of Fine Arts

My sister and I visited the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. When we went to the lobby to purchase our tickets, we were told that there was a new exhibit at the museum and tickets were only $15 for anybody under 30 years old. After we bought our tickets, we were told that there were 5 buildings to this museum. FIVE. One of the employees joked and said, “Yeah, it’s going to take you a while.” We didn’t mind because we didn’t really have any other plans afterwards since we changed a few things on our itinerary. All of the…

Travel With Me To: Saint Joseph’s Oratory

Another Montreal post. One of the places that my sister and I visited was a church. My sister and I visited this place called St. Joseph’s Oratory. We visited this place on a Sunday during Easter. Not our best decision but we honestly didn’t realize it was Sunday and we completely forgot when Easter was. The day we went, there was so much traffic that there were numerous police officers escorting all of the cars. Parking was hard to find but there was a police officer who found one for us. Everybody was dressed up so my sister and I…

Travel With Me To: Chateau Ramezay

My sister and I visited quite a number of museums when we were in Montreal. One of the museums we visited was Chateau Ramezay. Tickets are cheaper for students but in general, I think tickets were about $18 per person. The building is very home-like. The building is huge and roomy, but when you walk in, it does feel like a home. The lobby was very small and it was in the same room as the gift shop. Afterwards, the rooms are all right next to each other and it’s definitely very historic. This museum is located in Old Montreal.…
