Travel With Me To: Montreal Biodome

My sister and I decided to visit the Biodome. The Biodome is located in Olympic Park. It’s one of four facilities that make up Montreal’s Space for Life. In the admissions lobby, you have the option to individually buy tickets for each of the four facilities, The Montreal Biodome, Montreal Insectarium, Montreal Botanical Garden, and the Montreal Planetarium. If you buy tickets to all four facilities, you can receive a small discount or if you choose not to visit all facilities, you can buy tickets individually. It was our last day in Montreal so we decided to only visit the…

Travel With Me To: Montreal Biosphere

One of the places my sister and I visited while we were in Montreal was the Biosphere. There’s free parking and it’s pretty much a museum inside a sphere. It’s cheaper for students. I believe it’s $15 for students, so thank God, I brought my student ID, even though I’m not a student anymore, haha. It’s not a very busy museum. There weren’t that many people there, but I like how it’s not a touristy attraction. The woman at the front desk was wonderful and explained that two floors were closed due to a new exhibit coming soon. We spent…

Travel With Me To: Musée d’art contemporain de …

I really enjoy going to museums. There’s just something about museums that I enjoy going to them. My sister and I went to Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal, which is the Montreal Museum of Contemporary Art. I forgot how much it was for the museum but it is cheaper for students. I believe it might be 15 or 10 for students, I’m not too entirely sure. Street parking is available. I didn’t see a parking garage around so you might have to park at a lot a couple blocks away and then walk to the museum. I was a little…

Travel With Me To: Our Montreal Airbnb

My sister and I decided to book an AIRBNB for Montreal instead of a hotel. Booking the Montreal airbnb was actually inexpensive. My sister and I didn’t even spend that much – under a couple hundred and it was for 3 nights. There was a convenient store and an ATM around the block, which was convenient for us! And it was about a 5 minute drive to the nearest bar but other than that, everything was about a 10-15 minute drive, which wasn’t too bad. It was a pretty small place but it was so cute! It was more of…

Travel With Me To: Au Sommet Place Ville Marie (Montreal)

I’m a sucker for a skyline view. My sister and I decided to visit Au Sommet, which is Montreal’s Observation Deck, and the second tallest skyscraper in Montreal. There is street parking around the building, but it’s really hard to find. There’s a parking garage where you can park and take the escalator up. The observation deck is in the same building as the garage, so all you have to do is take the escalator up and walk to the lobby of the observation deck. We got there right before 7 and unfortunately, we only had an hour left. They…
