Sweater Weather

My sister asked me if we could go on a last minute photoshoot later that night because she wanted to get used to taking photos at night. She wanted to go to Boston, so I agreed. I think Boston’s beautiful at night.

We decided to go to Christopher Columbus park because it was along the water and the lights light up after a certain hour. We had trouble finding parking so it took us about 15 minutes and another 5 minutes to walk to the park.

I wasn’t too prepared for the photoshoot. I wore this outfit to work and came home and took a nap and then left for the photoshoot, but I mainly just wanted to help my sister with her photography.

We did a few of my “normal, regular” poses and just walked around the park to find the “perfect” shot. I wasn’t prepared for the weather. I was a bit cold. My cardigan was thick enough to keep me warm but I could still feel myself getting a cold, but my sister was determined to get good shots. The sun was starting to set so by the time my other sister arrived to meet up with us, it was already dark.

They had me stand against a wall for a good 20 minutes and by the water for another 15 for the perfect shot. We went to get bakery because we were starving, which was only about 5-10 minutes away walking. Then, when we came back, the park was lit up! We didn’t get any good pictures but it was still nice to look at. This is definitely one of my favorite parks so I do enjoy coming here but I never saw it lit up at night until this night. It’s definitely a cute spot for a romantic date, so maybe I’ll bring my boyfriend for a date one night.

The dress, I believe, is from Wet Seal. It’s loose-fitted, which I like. I like wearing loose dresses to work because I think bodycon or anything too tight is a little inappropriate. Of course, the dress was low cut so I had a black cami from Primark (only 98 cents!!) underneath. The leggings were only $4 from Primark, too. And the boots were $5.99 from 599fashion and the cardigan was from H&M. I love thick cardigans because when it’s chilly but not too cold, they keep me warm and cozy. Definitely one of my favorite cardigans and you’ll probably see me re-wear it again. I was already wearing a lot of black so I figured I’d throw a different-colored cardigan on for some extra color.
