Candy Stripes

For those of you who don’t know, I’m obsessed with stripes.

The weather here in Boston (Monday, April 24) is still pretty chilly and it’s been raining. I’m not a fan of rain – in fact, it drains my energy and just makes me tired, but I decided to dress bright to cheer up my mood.

I’m obsessed with stripes and I love this red/pinkish color. Pink is my favorite color, but the stripes are actually red, although it does somewhat look pink, depending on the brightness of your phone/computer. This shirt is definitely appropriate for work. The sleeves aren’t too long and go up to my wrist. It’s not too tight and I just overall love the shirt. I purposely didn’t button the top and bottom buttons because it looked better like that in my opinion. The button down and the cami underneath are both from Primark! SIMILAR HERE.

It was chilly and raining, so I threw on this Macy’s cardigan, FROM THIS POST. It’s pretty thick and it has buttons for me to button up as well, but however, I did not button it. I thought it looked better to leave it open to show my shirt. SIMILAR HERE.

I decided to wear gray pants because to me, the outfit looked better with gray pants instead of black. I thought black would be too dark for the white/pink theme so decided to throw on gray pants to match how light the outfit is. These pants are from THIS POST. I wear these pants all the time. I wore white flats to match with the cardigan and the button up. They’re the exact same flats from THIS POST but in white. So comfortable to wear but I do have trouble zipping and unzipping it, which is annoying. But other than that, I’m obsessed with them. They’re from 599fashion but here is a SIMILAR ONE.
