I’m easily influenced by other people’s styles.
With that being said, I bought denim culottes because I saw another blogger rave about them, so I bought them too!
Funny story, I never tried on these pants before Chicago. They were a little too big on me and I unfortunately did not pack a belt. My sister and I woke up early to beat Chicago traffic but because it was about 7AM, no stores were open. We went to Walgreens and then, CVS. Neither had belts but CVS had shoelaces so I bought them and used them as belt instead. It looked so weird but I made it work anyway. Now, my pants were held up smoothly and tightly! I adore these pants so much. They’re so comfortable and I adore them. I never thought I’d be in love with denim before but here I am.
I paired these pants up with a crop top that you tie in the back. I did feel naked because my whole back was basically showing but that’s okay. I adore this top. I’ve never had a top where I tied it at the back except for bikini tops so this was out of my comfort zone. I adore the colors and I love the way it goes with my denim jeans.
I did wear black flats to go with this outfit. I wear them all the time.
Because it was chilly, I wore a denim jacket on top. Denim on denim? 2012 Linda would have never approved but I’m glad I’m slowly breaking out of my fashion comfort zone.
