On Sunday, I hung out with one of my sisters.
We were last minute Christmas shopping. She texted me the night before if I wanted to go to the mall with her early in the morning. I agreed and set my alarm.
The next day, she picked me up around 10AM and we were on our way to our local mall.
To be honest, I didn’t even buy anything for anyone. My sister and I went from store to store trying to find gifts for her boyfriend’s family. I’m an actual last minute shopper so I wasn’t looking for gifts for anyone just yet. I was just going along with my sister trying to help her find gifts. We went from H&M to Forever 21 to Gap to Sephora. I bought a new foundation that I’ve never tried – Lancome. I’ve heard such great reviews about it and I was hesitant about buying it because of the price – $47, but my sister had a coupon for $25 off so I thought, why not? We spent about 15 minutes trying to figure out which shade was the best for me. I was already wearing makeup, so I didn’t want to completely take it off.
After we went to the mall, we were trying to find a place to eat. We wanted to try a place that we’ve never had before. I forgot the name of the restaurant that we went to but it was close by to the second mall we went to. The place itself was beautiful and presentable. We found parking easily in front of the restaurant and they sat us right away. We had a big booth to ourselves and it was pretty cozy and warm. The waitress was quick to get our orders and waiting for the food didn’t take long either. I underestimated how big the portions were going to be so I ended up not finishing it and had to take it home.
We went to Old Navy, Marshalls and Five Below after. I still didn’t buy anything but I was looking around for a Yankee Swap idea and I found the perfect one!
My sister dropped me off home around 4PM. We went shopping for the entire day and all I got was a new foundation!
I waited for my boyfriend to come home and then we took quick pictures outside and inside my house. It was already dark out by the time he came home.
Boots were a Christmas gift from a few years ago but they’re from DSW. You can buy similar ones at Forever 21, Primark, Marshalls, etc. I am obsessed with over the knee boots. I figured I wear these ones because the color somewhat goes with the light beige sweater. The sweater dress looks somewhat white in pictures but it was a light beige/neutral color. It was from from Wet Seal. It was thick enough to keep me warm and cozy! I’m obsessed with sweater dresses! They’re definitely my go to for the winter! And the leggings are from Primark! Only $4!! So comfortable and I didn’t have a problem with it falling down. It wasn’t too see-through either.
Such a lovely outfit you put together! love how you mixed natural colors!
