I’m a hoarder so I tend to keep clothes from years before.
My sisters all complain about how I have too much clothes and how I need to get rid of them. But honestly, I’m just really attached to them. And I can look at every article of clothing I have and remember where and when I wore it, even if I wore it once or numerous times.
With that being said, the last time I wore this white skirt was back in August 2014 for an Austin Mahone concert, more importantly, I wore this skirt to meet Fifth Harmony. This white skirt was part of their collection with Wet Seal. For those of you who didn’t know this, I worked at Wet Seal years ago before it shut down, so I had first dibs on their collection and bought this skirt with my 40% off discount. This skirt holds that precious memory of me meeting Fifth Harmony that I can’t get rid of it. The skirt was a little tight on me since I did gain weight and got fatter but I was still able to fit it! I absolutely adore this skirt, mainly because of Fifth Harmony, but because I got out of my comfort zone. I don’t like wearing white pants or white in general, but when Fifth Harmony created their Wet Seal line, they influenced me to get out of my comfort zone and therefore, I bought the skirt. It’s actually a skort – skirt and shorts combined, which is why I love it even more! I adore this skort, even though it’s a little short and tight on me, but Miami was my excuse to finally wear it again since one of the girls from Fifth Harmony is from Miami.
My top is also from Wet Seal. I bought it months before they shut down. It’s a crop top with a light mesh. I absolutely love the colors of this top. I wore it with my white skirt because white matches everything. I love florals and I love the mesh/transparent look of it and it’s super stretchy! I love florals, if you couldn’t already tell. I just think they’re perfect all year round! I wear floral no matter the season and weather! I absolutely adored pairing this top with my skirt. I think the two pieces went perfectly together.
I just wore flip flops because we were actually going to catch a plane in a few hours and didn’t feel like changing my shoes. Sandals would have made the outfit 10 times cuter but I was in a rush and just didn’t want to unpack my suitcase to switch shoes!
And yes, this is my last Miami post! Have you guys been to Miami before?
