I love colors, especially when there are multiple colors in one clothing item.
My dress is bright and colorful, and it makes me happy. Whenever I’m feeling down, I try to wear “happy” colors to help boost my mood. When I look good, I feel good. I was feeling slightly under the weather this day so I threw on this dress to help me feel better. Not going to lie, it did. I felt beautiful in this dress because of all of the pretty colors. It’s completely appropriate for work. The length goes past my knees. The fabric isn’t see-through either. It’s pretty thick so I didn’t have to worry about my underwear line showing. I think the only problem was that it was supposed to be an off the shoulder dress and of course, that’s inappropriate for work. I tried to get my sleeves to cover my shoulders. It was a bit loose so the dress showed part of my back/tattoo. This isn’t too inappropriate for my workplace but I wanted to keep it professional. I did throw on a white blazer (not shown) so that my low neckline wasn’t showing too much. I did wear this dress out and about after work and it made me feel beautiful. It’s always nice to have that one dress that makes you feel beautiful even when you feel horrible.
I paired this dress up with black lace up flats. There are black lines and designs on the dress so I worn black flats to match with that. The colors already stand out as it is so I kept the shoes “neutral.”
