It’s been getting colder here in Boston but that won’t stop me from wearing a skirt.
I LOVE my shirt from Lovbird. It’s a lilac/light purple color. The material is soft and stretchy. It’s typically a shirt for yoga or relaxing but I wore it for my outfit. I love this lilac color and I adore how soft this t-shirt is. I bought it in a size SMALL when I’m normally an XSMALL so it was pretty roomy and stretchy. The length is pretty long so I tied the shirt up on the side for a few pictures, but then I decided to tuck my shirt in because I didn’t want to make my shirt wrinkly. I love the “let go” meaning. Lovbird is a clothing company that is dedicated to “eco-conscious clothing” and they are passionate about looking after our planet. Their tees are 100% organic cotton. Lovbird is also a company designed by Maureen Bradshaw – she wanted to make clothing that was part of her artistic free spirit combined with a heart-felt belief that we need to live more consciously. I paired this shirt up with a navy blue skirt. The skirt is somewhat SHORT so I wore a black spandex shorts/leggings underneath. The skirt is layered. You can somewhat see it in the photos that there’s two different fabrics/layers. I think lilac and navy blue look great together. I love mixing and matching different colors together and I genuinely think these two colors look great together. My skirt is chiffon and pleated. I have a green version that you can VIEW HERE.
I love styling pleated skirts and tees together because they make a casual outfit look dressed up but relaxed at the same time.
I just wore white sandals to go with this outfit to match with the lilac and navy blue.
