I love wearing florals in the winter. My dress is a floral dress from Primark. There is a similar dress linked HERE, since Primark doesn’t offer online shopping. This dress is chiffon material and pretty light. It is a layered dress. The florals were on top and there was a second green fabric underneath. I didn’t have to worry about my bra strap or underwear showing. This dress is pretty long so I would recommend this for work. Also, the sleeves are somewhat long but I personally didn’t mind at all. I’m obsessed with the color green and love the yellow in this dress. I was going to say it’s different but it’s really not different for my style. This screams my name.
I wore tights underneath because I was in DC where it was 20 degrees. My boots were seen in THIS POST, and they’re pretty chunky. Chunky heels help me walk better and my feet didn’t hurt whatsoever. These chunky heels go great with my dress and the colors.
It was freezing in DC! My coat is from Loft and this long coat kept my arms warm but I’ll admit, my legs were freezing. The coat was long enough to cover my thighs but I was still freezing from the knee and below. Should’ve listened to my mama and covered up more. This coat kept me warm but it’s so important to wear leggings or thick pants in this weather! My legs hated me by the end of the night. My arms and the rest of my body were warm but my legs were not. So please, everybody, bundle up in the winter. You can freeze for a few minutes for the perfect photo but then, throw all your clothes back on! Stay warm, everyone!
