Peru is a vast and beautiful country full of so many wonders and beauty. It might not always be on everyone’s hit list to go to, but we’re here to show you why it should be. The holiday itself really isn’t that expensive, and there’s just so much to do in terms of history and culture whilst you’re there. The vibe is always amazing, and the hustle and bustle of life there is often what captures people’s attentions. If you want to catch some amazing views, this is the place for you to go. To help open your mind to some of the beauties it has to offer, here’s a look into Peru.

The Sights

The sights are often what keep people so amazed during a holiday to Peru. One of the most famous has to be Machu Picchu. A bit of a jaunt to get to we will admit, but once you’re there you’re going to be in complete awe of the sights and culture you’re going to see. Peru is quiet a green land filled country, so it truly does feel amazing to be looking out over the vast wilderness when you get to the top and reach Machu Picchu. There’s so many other place to go whilst you’re there as well. For example, you could hike the Inca trail which will offer you some amazing scenery, it just might tire you out! The thing with Peru is you will find it is a lot of hiking and exploring to see the sights you want to see, but all that exercise will be more than worth it. There are some more chilled out aspects to the country as well. All you have to is head to the beach to sit back and relax.

The Food

The food is pretty amazing over there. There are so many Peruvian delicacies for you to try that is really going to open your taste buds. All you need to do is wonder the streets and check out a few of the local restaurants. A lot of them are family owned, with the recipes being produced having been in the family for years. You really can expect to have a culinary treat every night. If you’re looking for something a bit more recognisable, there are plenty of restaurants serving amazing steaks with a cheeky cocktail on the side. If you’re anxious about the food choices, just check out tripadvisor to see what restaurants there are to head to before you go.

Venture Out?

When you’re in Peru, you’re really not far from bordering countries, such as Brazil, that are just waiting to be explored. If you’ve gone to Peru for a couple of weeks, you could always take a little side trip to a country such as Brazil to spread your travelling wings a bit. It helps to break up the holiday, and allows you to see two holidays in one. You could even just venture out and explore the different towns of Peru, there’s going to be so much more to see than just the main attractions.
