I’m all for wearing dresses in the winter so here’s a maroon dress. I wore this to work and one person mentioned that I look “too spring.” I had just came back from Orlando so I’m still missing the Orlando weather. This maroon dress for the winter is a lacey dress. The lacing on the sleeves is my favorite part of this dress. Also, the color is gorgeous and perfect for any season. Because I wore this to work and lace can be inappropriate, I wore a camisole underneath my dress. Without the camisole, the dress would have been revealing and I wanted to be appropriate for work. Of course, the length is appropriate for an office setting but the lace is not.
Because it was cold, I put on 40 denier tights to keep my legs warm. My legs typically don’t get cold easily but I wore them just in case. Since it wasn’t too cold, I wore 40 denier tights. Typically, when it’s colder, I wear thicker tights to keep me warm. In general, it was about 40 degrees so I personally didn’t think it was too cold so that’s why my tights aren’t so thick.
For my shoes, I wore black-knee length boots. I wanted to make sure that my maroon dress for the winter was the statement piece. I kept my boots and tights neutral to make sure my maroon dress stood out.
In general, I am obsessed with this dress. I can’t wait to wear it in the summer without the camisole underneath. You’ll probably see this dress again!
