Checkered Dress

Checkered Dress

Sweater dresses are a must have for my winter wardrobe.

Sweater dresses keep me warm and also stylish. This dress I have on is an extra small from Loft. SIMILAR ONE HERE. It’s not really a sweater dress because it’s not thick enough to be considered one, so you can definitely wear this in the spring or summer time. It is thick enough to keep me warm. It’s also length-appropriate for work. It is a couple inches away from knee length, but it’s still appropriate because when I align my arms to my dress, the dress is still longer than the tip of my fingers. I think as long as the dress is longer than the tip of your fingers when you align your arm to the dress, then it’s perfectly fine. My office isn’t too strict about it either as long as my boobs aren’t showing and as long as the dress isn’t too tight. And this dress isn’t tight at all. It’s flowy and gives me room to move around and breathe. It’s pretty big on me for an extra small but that’s because it’s an extra small in women sizes and women sizes are always too big on me. I like how it comes with a belt because it helps me tighten the dress. Adore this dress – can be worn for work, a dinner date or even a casual day out! It definitely keeps me warm, too!

Scarf is from my supervisor, which you can totally buy a similar one from Forever 21. OR SIMILAR ONE HERE. The scarf can be seen in THIS POST and THIS POST. I love infinity scarves because it’s so easy to just throw it on.

Tights are from Primark and the boots are the same ones from DSW. SIMILAR ONE HERE. I wore knee-length boots just in case it was chillier throughout the day. Always stay prepared so I had my boots keep my legs warm and the tights also made a big difference for me, too.
