I used to never wear denim. I went a couple years without wearing it and picked it back up sometime last year.
Day 3 of California.
I took this denim shirt from my sister – XS from Forever 21. I don’t know how I got back into denim, but I’m glad it did. Even though it’s technically not getting out of my comfort zone since I used to wear denim all the time, it’s still a huge adjustment for me. I love button ups so when I saw this, I had to get it. The buttons are so easy to tap together and take off and I’m obsessed with the pocket. I think the “pop of design” is what drew me in to it and what makes it unique. Absolutely adore the shirt and how the sleeves aren’t too long on me. It fit me perfectly. Even if the sleeves were to long on me, I can unbutton them and fold them back like I do with most of my button ups. SIMILAR ONE HERE.
Pants are from H&M. My sister confused them as leggings. They technically are but they’re a lot thicker than leggings and they have pockets on the back, which is why I considered them as just “pants.” I think the technical term is “jeggings” even though they aren’t “jeans.” It’s also stretchy! And it doesn’t show my camel toe whatsoever, haha. It is a little loose on my waist but other than that, they fit me on my calves, thighs. These are the same pants from THIS POST. This is A SIMILAR OPTION HERE.
Same old cardigan from Wet Seal from THIS POST. It’s thick and it kept me warm in this San Jose/Santa Cruz weather. It was about 50-60 degrees. We went to the beach to go running and this cardigan kept me fairly warm. SIMILAR ONE HERE.
Same old boots you always see. They’re the only pair of shoes I brought to California so all my future posts will be of these boots, haha. SIMILAR ONE HERE.
My sisters hated how my socks showed and how I didn’t tuck them in my boots, but I thought it gave my outfit a little spunk, haha. I liked my socks with this outfit!
