Brown on Brown

I love cardigans, especially ones with multiple colors and designs.

My supervisor and I are pretty close, where we bond literally over almost everything. Fashion is one of the things we bond over. She and I are both clothes hoarder and well, it’s just something we can’t control. We both love fashion and shopping. My supervisor thrifted this cardigan for me and when she gave it to me, I was in love. I love the colors. I love how thick it is and the designs are so cute! It’s definitely more of a winter cardigan, but it’s still pretty cold here in Boston, so a thick cardigan is necessary! There are buttons in case I wanted to keep myself warmer. Everything about this cardigan is great! Yes, it is a little bulky but I like it because it helps me be able to layer up in cold weather. I wore this cardigan as an outer wear so I did take it off when I got to my desk. It kept me warm in 50-60 degree weather. The only thing missing that would make this cardigan so much better is if there was a hood. I’m a sucker for cardigans with hoods. Unfortunately, there are no pockets to this cardigan and those would have made the cardigan so much better, but nonetheless, it’s cute. The colors are cute and I adore it. SIMILAR HERE.

I paired this cardigan up with a button down from Primark. SIMILAR HERE. I wanted the top to match the cardigan so I purposely wore brown. What I love about this button down is that it has a slight open back. It’s a chic look with a twist! I love how soft and suede it is. I adore the buttons and I think it’s a totally appropriate length for work! I’m obsessed with the open back. Of course, I paired it up with a forever 21 basic cami so that my skin wasn’t showing. But I love how the top is two-toned or two different shades of brown. I think it makes the outfit look nicer and chic. And I adore how the color goes so well with the cardigan.

My pants are also from Primark. They’re denim jeans technically but from a far perspective, they look somewhat like dress pants. I wore black to match with the dark brown color. SIMILAR HERE.

And I wore my black ankle boots to give a more cozy outfit than anything else. Without the cardigan, my outfit is chic with a twist but with the cardigan, my outfit has a cozy feeling to it. It’s almost as if I’m dressing for winter but here in Boston, the weather is so unpredictable. Boots and cardigans are necessary. SIMILAR HERE.
