My sister and I took a day trip to Provincetown, MA.
We both had the day off and decided to spend the night at Cape Cod and travel to Provincetown the next day. It was hot outside (high 70s, low 80s) so we decided that the first thing we do when we get to Provincetown is go to the beach! I googled the top favorite beach at Provincetown and apparently, it was Race Point Beach, so that’s where we went to! Parking was $20 but we were told that when you park at one lot, you have access to 6 other beaches. We only went to one just because it was extremely hot outside and it made us hungry.
Sadly, the water was too cold for us to actually dunk our bodies in and the sand isn’t as soft as I imagined. I guess you can say that I’m picky with beaches – the sand has to be soft and the water has to be clear and not be too cold. I was disappointed with this beach but I’m glad we went to at least one beach here in Provincetown. Last time we went to Provincetown, we didn’t go to any beaches so I’m glad we were able to experience that this day. Although I don’t think this is the best beach, it was still a good beach to relax and soak up the sun.
My bikini – the bottoms are way too small on me. I bought this last year and sadly, didn’t try it on until this day. Note self: Try on your bikinis before you buy them or try them on when you get them! You can tell that it was tugging on my body and made my love handles noticeable but in general, I really liked the designs and the colors. I wish it fit me better on the bottom but in general, I did like this bikini. I love the top and I just thought the designs were gorgeous and perfect for summer.
