Continuing on, I was introduced to Lily de Mai. First off, I love the name. I think it’s just cute and I’ve always liked the name Lily, haha.

Lily de Mai believes in purity of nature and the power of science to transform your sensitive skin. Their ingredients are typically organic, active, skin identical ingredients. They work to make sure that their products work well with sensitive skin. Their ingredients help with sensitive skin in four different ways:

  1. Supporting, revitalizing, and strengthening the protective skin barrier
  2. Soothing inflamed skin and reducing redness
  3. Deeply hydrating dry skin and minimizing surface water loss and dehydration
  4. Promoting collagen and elastin production, improving the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, firm skin, and producing a brighter, more even skin tone

Lily de Mai embraces ingredients like Niacinamide, Vitamin C, Peptides and Sodium PCA, etc. They are all about combining them with organic botanicals to create the most healthy and effective skin care possible. They also use skin-identical ingredients in all of their products. Their ingredients are bio-compatible ingredients that mimic the naturally occurring components of healthy skin. Also, each of their product is composed with the finest organic botanicals. And they are cruelty-free, vegan and gluten!

Okay, so as for the product, I received their bliss facial mist. This mist is for brightening, balancing and  hydrating your dry skin. It brightens and illuminates dull uneven skin tone. It helps to calm distressed skin and support the protective skin barrier. It also encourages collagen production for firmer, plumper skin. Also, it’s great for remineralizing the skin and balances oil production. It’s great for after cleansing and to hydrate the skin after you shower.

For my personal experience, I do love the scent. It smells like floral and somewhat like cotton candy. So if you have a sweet tooth, you will love the scent. I’m a huge fan of anything floral and I love how the scent isn’t overbearing. Strong scents tend to make my nauseous and sick but this one is a small scent. I enjoy smelling it and it genuinely makes me happy.

I switch between facial mists but I do carry this one time to time in my work/school bag. I’m still currently oily but when it gets colder, my skin gets dry. However, even with my oily skin right now, this mist doesn’t make me feel greasy or oilier. I love that my skin reacts well with the product and the ingredients. It doesn’t hurt my skin and it absorbs into my skin pretty quickly. I use this product about 1-3 times a day and I love that it keeps my skin radiant and gorgeous. I have terrible skin so this product helps to make my skin look better (even though it’s really not) but it gives the illusion that it does.

I’m all about facial mists so I do recommend this for sensitive skin. The product works well with my acne-prone skin and scars and it doesn’t hurt one bit!
