Travel With Me To: Musée d’art contemporain de …

I really enjoy going to museums. There’s just something about museums that I enjoy going to them. My sister and I went to Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal, which is the Montreal Museum of Contemporary Art. I forgot how much it was for the museum but it is cheaper for students. I believe it might be 15 or 10 for students, I’m not too entirely sure. Street parking is available. I didn’t see a parking garage around so you might have to park at a lot a couple blocks away and then walk to the museum. I was a little…

Travel With Me To: Our Montreal Airbnb

My sister and I decided to book an AIRBNB for Montreal instead of a hotel. Booking the Montreal airbnb was actually inexpensive. My sister and I didn’t even spend that much – under a couple hundred and it was for 3 nights. There was a convenient store and an ATM around the block, which was convenient for us! And it was about a 5 minute drive to the nearest bar but other than that, everything was about a 10-15 minute drive, which wasn’t too bad. It was a pretty small place but it was so cute! It was more of…

Travel With Me To: Au Sommet Place Ville Marie (Montreal)

I’m a sucker for a skyline view. My sister and I decided to visit Au Sommet, which is Montreal’s Observation Deck, and the second tallest skyscraper in Montreal. There is street parking around the building, but it’s really hard to find. There’s a parking garage where you can park and take the escalator up. The observation deck is in the same building as the garage, so all you have to do is take the escalator up and walk to the lobby of the observation deck. We got there right before 7 and unfortunately, we only had an hour left. They…

Travel With Me To: Mount Royal (Montreal)

One of the places my sister and I visited while we were in Montreal was Mount Royal. Just a heads up – the next few posts will be about our Montreal trip. Mount Royal is a popular place in Montreal. It’s pretty much a small mountain that you can hike or drive up to. For the best view, it’s better to hike because you can get to places where a car can’t, but my sister and I were feeling lazy. Plus, it was dark when we decided to see Mount Royal. I think it was after 8 when we decided…

Travel With Me To: Oakland and Santa Clara

When my sister and I were in Northern California, her boyfriend suggested that we should visit Oakland and Santa Clara. I’ve heard of Oakland before because one of my best friends is from there, so I was pretty excited to visit the city. It took us about 45 minutes to get there. We went to the waterfront of Oakland and to be honest, we were a little nervous. We heard reviews of how bad the city was and how much crime there has been. We walked around the waterfront and noticed there weren’t too many people there. A lot of…
