Alder New York Full Size Face Serum + 1 Travel Size Face Serum Review

Some of you all may be familiar with Alder New York by now because I’ve reviewed one of their products in the past. For anyone interested, feel free to read my past review from them to get to know the brand and what products they offer.

This month, I was able to try their Full Size Face Serum (and was given a travel size as well!).

A little about this product is that Alder New York Everyday Face Serum is like 3 serums in one, thanks to hyaluronic acid which plumps and hydrates, vitamin B3 to even skin tone, and willow bark and rosemary extract to balance oils and skin texture. The serum is non-greasy, fast absorbing and hydrating. The serum is fragrance free, vegan, and clean, Formulated without SLS and SLES, parabens, PEGs, formaldehyde and formaldehyde releasing agents, silicone, phthalates and synthetic fragrances, mineral oil, retinyl palmitate, oxybenzone, coal tar, EDTA, BHA and BHT, hydroquinone, triclosan, or triclocarban.

This fast absorbing skin booster includes salicin rich willow bark and rosemary extract to balance oil and reduce inflammation. Vitamin B3 works to additionally reduce inflammation and control redness to balance and even skin tone. Hyaluronic acid plumps and fills in any fine lines and wrinkles by attracting moisture to your skin.

To use it, apply 1-2 pumps of product to your fingertips. Then apply to your dry or damp freshly cleaned face in a gentle patting motion. Use 1-2 times daily for best results.

I personally love this serum. I know I say it all the time but I really do have sensitive skin and it’s rare when I find products that don’t burn or sting my skin right away. I feel the sting right away. Of course, it isn’t a dying-burning sensation but it still makes a difference in whether I want to continue using the serum or not.

Anyway, this serum works so well with my skin. I never have to worry about it being to harsh on my skin. During the winter, I get extremely dry so I personally don’t mind when my skin receives a little more oil so this oil does make my face feel moisturized. Of course, it is not greasy whatsoever so on the rare days during the Winter when I am dry, it doesn’t make me look oilier nor does the product feel gross on my skin. I personally hate products where I can FEEL the product on my face and this one, it absorbs quickly so I don’t have to worry about it being sticky. It’s not uncomfortable whatsoever.

I personally don’t have redness so this serum didn’t make a difference but I am acne-prone so this product somewhat helps with my inflammation. I mean, the scars do not disappear right away. I used this product every day for a little over a week and I’ve seen some difference with my scars so I’m super excited to continue using it even further for more differences in my skin!

So far, I’ve been loving every single product I’ve tried from Alder New York and I completely recommend it to anyone who wants to try.
