  1. Travel Somewhere Big On Nature

It goes without saying that if you want to get back in touch with nature on your next trip, you should travel somewhere that supports that. We’d be here for months if we attempted to list all of the amazing places you could go, but we’ll give you a few ideas. How about travelling to Fern Forest of Hawaii, and staying in a tropical treehouse? This kind of trip is literally the stuff dreams are made of. You could be sleeping amongst the trees and enjoying the stars!

Then there’s staying in a beautiful villa in Sao Paulo, surrounded by amazing scenery. Key West, Florida is another place renowned for awesome outdoor activities, as is Yosemite, California. You could look into log cabins in all kinds of different places, or perhaps even a lake resort depending on what you want from your accommodation.

You could even do a staycation and explore the natural wonders in your own back garden, so don’t be put off by thinking you have to travel ages away or spend a ton of money.

2. Spend Lots Of Time In The Great Outdoors

Make sure you plan to spend lots of time in the great outdoors, wherever you choose to go. You can go for walks and hikes and explore the amazing scenery, and even take bike tours to get your bearings and learn more about the area. Many of these tours are free and even come with a guide, so see what’s available in your area.

You could walk and go for a picnic in a beautiful park or reserve, explore crystal caves, and so much more. Make sure you always take comfortable shoes so you can explore on foot!

Usually, when people are really enjoying nature, they are moving in some way, so pair getting active with your nature experience and you’ll have so much fun.

3. Journal About Your Experiences And What You Have Seen

Journaling while you travel is great, because you also get back in touch with your feelings and emotions. You’ll love reading back your entries once you return home, whether you read them back immediately after your return or years down the line. This could be a habit to keep up once you get back too! Buy a nice journal and a pen and vow to write about your travels every day, even if it’s just a few minutes entry. You could even buy a bullet journal, if you’re the kind of person who prefers to get everything down fast and matter of fact rather than spending ages constructing a nice paragraph!
