Hero Cosmetics Mighty Patch Variety Pack Review

I think some of you may be familiar with Hero Cosmetics as I’ve reviewed quite a few products from them.

This month, I have their Variety Pack and they’re all products that I’ve already tried in the past but I’d be happy to bring them altogether in one post! The variety pack contain the Might Patch Original, the Mighty Patch Invisible+, and the Might Patch Surface.

First up, these Mighty Patch Acne Patches are made with the highest quality hydrocolloid, which is a fluid absorbing agent that draws out pus and other impurities from your pimple. Basically, this product reduces blemish size, speeds up the healing process all while protecting your skin. Basically, you just clean your pimp and then apply the Might Patch over it and leave it on overnight. When you wake up in the morning, you’ll see this little patch with absorbed pus and your pimple visibly reduced.

I use these patches almost every night because I tend to break out A LOT. I have tiny little bumps and pimples all over my face. I noticed results after just an hour of putting them on my face. These little patches work QUICK. Of course, better results are when you wear them overnight.

As for the Mighty Patch Invisible+, they are made up of hydrocolloid stickers that suck up pus while protecting blemishes for faster healing. They are a new way to battle pesky blemishes without harsh chemicals or drying formulas that can show results overnight. These patches are super thin and more visible. Each box comes with 2 different sizes with tapered edges and a clear matte finish to suit all skin types. They use the highest quality hydrocolloid where you can visibly see the difference. They have better adhesion and absorption. They’re also cruelty free and no harsh chemicals. Tapered edges help the patch blend into skin making this perfect acne patch for when you need them to be discreet. These patches are great for paper cuts, razor cuts and blisters.

I basically use these patches a couple hours after my skincare routine and then I leave them on overnight. I’ve been having a lot of acne and pimples lately and these invisible patches save my life. I sleep with them overnight and I know it works because I wake up with pus covered patches (as gross as that sounds) and then, I just take off and wash my face and proceed with my morning routine! They literally are invisible but if you don’t put makeup on and put two in the same area, then it can be noticeable. I had three in one area because my acne was that severe and my boyfriend noticed them. In general, you can’t really see them. They don’t hurt whatsoever. It doesn’t hurt to take them off either. You don’t even feel them when it’s on so you tend to forget that it’s there. They are literally my life saver. My acne and pimples of course does not disappear completely but I just use the mighty patches again at night to slowly reduce the pimples/acne. It does such a great job. You don’t have to do them overnight. You can put them on whenever it’s convenient for you. It takes about a couple hours to work but I see my best results when I leave them on overnight or for several hours. So if you have an event going on tonight, put these babies on and your pimple/acne will clear within a couple hours! Like magic!

As for their Mighty Patch Surface Patches, This product is basically like the invisible patches and other patches that they have. When one patch just won’t cut it, Mighty Patch Surface covers the entire breakout area (think: cheeks, forehead, back, chin) and extracts impurities with the same hydrocolloid power you already know and love in Mighty Patch. This is their newest product! Mighty Patch Surface uses the highest grade hydrocolloid, a super absorbent material, to draw out pus and other impurities from your pimple. This reduces the blemish, speeds up the healing process all while protecting your skin. Flexible and thin so it covers all the curves of your face and body. Buildable – put two or three together to find the right coverage – or cut them to get the perfect size for YOU. Hydrocolloid (the primary ingredient) is great for small cuts like paper cuts, razor cuts, and blisters. Great for daytime usage. Tapered edges and a clear matte finish to suit all skin types. Plastic backing is perforated for easy peel-off with great stickiness.

The difference between this and the other patches is that it is bigger! This is perfect for me because when I break out, I break out in a huge area. For example, I’m currently breaking out on my forehead so this patch is perfect for me. I just clean the area I want to put this product on and then place the patch over it. I sleep in it overnight and when I wake up, my patches are filled with pus (tmi) and then, I take it off and clean my face. I love how gentle these products are and they do not hurt when taking them off! They’re sensitive and perfect for people with sensitive skin. The product does make my dry but that’s because they’re taking out all the pus. So I do have to clean my face and moisturize right after I use it, but that’s expected. So remember to clean your face and moisturize after each use!

In general, whichever one you use, you WILL have to moisturize immediately after you use them because your skin will get extremely dry.

Other than that, I completely recommend this brand and their products.
