Holiday Things to do in Boston

If you plan on visiting Boston for the holidays or if you live in Boston, there are so many activities for you to do. Boston is a great city to visit and plan activities. It’s a great city to venture out and participate in holiday activities. On today’s Blogmas With Linda, find out about all the activities happening in Boston this year.

  1. Visit a Christmas show. Boston has so many shows coming up such as How the Grinch Stole Christmas, the Nutcracker, Holidaze and so much more. You can find out about all the events happening here.
  2. Go ice skating in Frog Pond. Ice skating is a huge deal in Boston and so many people go to Frog Pond to go ice skating because you’re surrounded by all of the festival lights and you’re listening to Christmas music at the same time.
  3. Watch the City Light Up. The Boston Commons is always setting up lights to make the place look festive and fun. Visit the Boston Commons to take a photo with the huge Christmas tree or just to see all the Christmas lights.
  4. Holiday cruise around Boston. I know, I know, it’s too cold for that but on a cruise, you’ll be able to see all the Christmas lights in Boston and it’s probably one of the most magical and festive times you’ll ever have.
  5. Shopping. Faneuil Hall / Quincy Market / Copley Square always have lights up to make everything festive. It’s like being in a winter wonderland.
  6. Attend a concert or game. It may be cold but nothing better than listening to good music or watching your favorite team play!
  7. See the ice sculptures. Ice sculptures are usually during New Year’s Eve but it’s still fun to go see them even though it’ll be cold. There are so many and it’s throughout the Boston Commons.
  8. Lawn on D. Lawn on D is park in South Boston. During the holidays, they have ice sculptures and fun activities to keep you in the holiday spirit.
