The best way to style lingerie is to pair it up with a skirt, jeans, pants or anything that can offset that it’s lingerie. My outfit specifically is paired up with the skirt because I wanted to make it more cute instead of sex.y I think if you want to tone down the sexiness, you have to make it more cute than sexy.

So my dress is a lingerie dress, the Jacqueline Plus, from Adore Me and the way that I styled it is, I paired it up with a skater skirt or a circle skirt and a blazer. This helps to make it look cuter and a little bit more professional and a lot less sexy, which was the whole point. Had I wore the dress alone, it definitely would have been sexier but because I want to blend in more, I wore it with a skirt and a blazer and boots and I think that’s the best way to tone down lingerie and sexiness, especially if you plan on wearing it to something more casual or if you plan on wearing it to work. Yes, I did wear this outfit for work and it was fine because I dressed it down.

Yes, because it’s winter, it’s cold so you already know that I paired my outfit up with fleece tights and sheer tights. Yes, my sheer tights are ripped. I’ve seen the viral Sheertax tights all over social media but I can’t justify spending 50 dollars on it but if you guys think it’s worth it, let me know. I will only justify it if everybody says it’s worth the price, so if you bought it and you love it and you think it’s worth $5, please let me know in the comments.

As usual, my tights are the same tights I wear in all my photos and posts which are also linked down below and it is also from Amazon. The actual sheer tights are from Primark, though I understand Primark isn’t accessible everywhere. It is accessible in the UK I believe and select stores in the US.

Anyway, to style lingerie in everyday wear, just pair it up with pants for a more professional look or jeans for a more casual look or a skirt for a more cute look. For a more cute look, I definitely recommend a maxi skirt or a circle skirt, like the one I’m wearing, but if you do wear a pencil skirt, it is definitely going to give off more sexy than professional and cute, so it really all depends on the look you’re going for. If you’re styling it for work, then definitely a blazer and a loose skirt or dress pants.

Let me know if you want me to style this dress in other ways. I do have a TikTok of how I styled this dress but if you want more outfits and style info, let me know.
