Kate Somerville ExfoliKate Glow Moisturizer Review
I won a contest through Influenster so I was able to receive this product from Kate Somerville. I’ve heard so many things about Kate Somerville so I was eager to win this product and try it.
To start off, this moisturizer is a duo of AHAs – Glycolic and Lactic Acids – comebined with Pineapple, Pumpkin and Papaya Enzymes. This helps to reduce the appearance of surface dullness and uneven skin texture to reveal beautiful, glowing skin.
When I fist opened this product, I was in love. I absolutely adore the scent. It smells amazing. It does smell like pineapples, or something fruit. It is now one of my favorite scents. The product isn’t thick like lotion. It’s pretty thin and you can’t feel the product on your face. You just spread it over your face and let the magic work. Some products, I can feel the product on my face but with this one, I couldn’t.
I normally have oily skin. I have combination skin but more so oily. However, in the winter, my skin does get extremely dry because of my eczema and I don’t drink enough water. This moisturizer helped to soften my skin and make it smooth without making me too greasy. I love the glowy sensation I felt and I loved how smooth my skin looked after. This product is great to make your skin look alive and not dull. If you suffer from eczema or dry skin in the winter, then this is the product from you. This product helped to make my skin look nice and alive. I adore this product and totally recommend. If you have sensitive skin, (depending if scent hurts your skin), this product is great. I have sensitive skin and this didn’t irritate me at all. I know some people can’t use products with a scent so this may not be ideal for you if that’s the case. In general, this product is soft and doesn’t hurt my skin whatsoever. It helps to rejuvenate it and I love the glow I see on my face every time I use it.
