Lather Blue Chamomile Makeup Remover Review

You all should be familiar with Lather by now because I review their products all the time. I love the brand and their products so you’ll most likely see them more often.

I was able to try two new products from them, the Blue Chamomile Makeup remover and their face wash which is somewhat like a cleanser.

With the Blue Chamomile makeup remover, it is extremely gentle. Their gentle formula, enriched with soothing Blue Chamomile (Azulene), Amino Acids and Aloe Vera, gently dissolves makeup in an instant, even stubborn waterproof mascara, while refreshing, calming and protecting the skin. The comforting blue tone is naturally derived from chamomile flowers during the distillation process. Used in aromatherapy skin care remedies for thousands of years, chamomile is rich in bisabolol, helping to calm the skin and relieve environmental stress.

I wear a lot of waterproof eyeliner and mascara so sometimes, my makeup wipes do a horrible with taking it off completely. I use a cotton swab and just dab the product into this pad and then wipe off my eyeliner and mascara. This product is gentle on my face and removes my makeup off easily. Be careful not to get it in your eye! I did exactly and almost had a heart attack but in general, it feels good on my skin and doesn’t irritate me. The formula is very lightweight and soft so it works well with any skin type. It works well with my sensitive skin so I think you’ll be fine if you have sensitive skin. I also am obsessed with the color! I’ve never seen a blue makeup remover so I thought this was unique and cool!

As for the face wash, it is basically like a cleanser. This is the perfect mild and balancing face wash (SLS free) with soothing botanical extracts that clear away makeup and impurities, without drying the skin. It is enriched with white tea, rosemary, chamomile, aloe and pomegranate that work their magic to leave you with a glowing complexion, ready to face the world. This cleanser is gentle and sulfate (SLS/SLES) free. No parabens, sulfates, mineral oil or synthetic fragrance and colors. Vegan. Never tested on animals.

I like that the formula is lightweight and easily absorbs into my skin. I genuinely don’t feel the product on my face and it makes my skin feel smooth without drying it out. As it’s not like a regular typical face wash where you just wash your face with it, it’s more like a cleanser. So if you were expecting an actual face WASH, then this may not be for you but I encourage to try the product anyway because you may be surprised! The formula is thin and soft and my skin feels amazing after I wash my face off. My skin feels smooth, radiant and alive. My skin doesn’t look oily or dry so I think it’s perfect for all skin types.

So I do recommend Lather’s new makeup remover and their face wash!
