LATHER Chia Passion Duo Review

This month, I was able to try the Chia Passion Duo which contained their Chia seed & passion fruit cleansing oil and their Chia seed & passion fruit facial oil.

So this Passion Duo is meant to cleanse, moisturize and protect skin with this nourishing duo, rich in omega fatty acids and antioxidants. Chia seed oil is one of the richest plant-based sources of omega-3 fatty acids, known for their soothing, skin-calming properties. Passion fruit seed oil, considered a dry oil due to its fast absorbing, non-greasy, velvety texture, contains moisturizing omega-6 fatty acids and antioxidant Vitamin C.

For the Chia seed & passion fruit cleansing oil, it dissolves and sweeps away dirt and makeup.  With the addition of water, the oil is transformed into a milky emulsion that can be easily rinsed away. Skin feels clean, soft and hydrated.

With the Chia seed & passion fruit facial oil, it supports the skin’s barrier function, reducing water loss and dehydration. It can be used year-round to moisturize, protect, soothe, and keep skin soft, plump and smooth as skin is exposed to extreme temperatures, dry air conditions, and damaging free radicals.

I personally like the facial oil over the cleansing oil but I do love both. With the cleansing oil, it helps to dissolve my makeup without irritating my skin. I love how I can easily apply the product on my face without any problems. The product is gentle on my skin and I haven’t had any bad reactions whatsoever! It also has a small scent but you can’t even notice it unless you smell the bottle directly because it’s so discreet!

As for the Chia seed & passion fruit facial oil, I like this product because it feels amazing on my skin. It feels somewhat like the cleansing oil but it absorbs faster and it doesn’t make me feel oily whatsoever. It is somewhat thick but not too thick to the point I feel the product on my face. I don’t feel greasy or oily when using the product and I’d say it works well with my sensitive skin. I do notice my skin feeling and looking hydrated and clean afterwards so I genuinely love this facial oil. The facial oil is also a clear liquid so it’s like water when you first look at it but it feels amazing on the skin afterwards.

In general, this duo does a great job with keeping me clean and hydrated. My skin needs all the help it can get during the winter so I appreciate this duo!
