Lather Review
I discovered a new brand called Lather from of course, Palm.
Lather was discovered by a migraine sufferer, Emilie Davidson Hoyt. This brand is all about offering a superior body care experience by creating products using the highest quality, effective natural ingredients, and providing exceptional services that not only treate the skin but educate the consumer.
I was able to try out two products, the bamboo lemongrass foaming body scrub and the honey moisture mask with propolis extract.
The bamboo lemongrass foaming body scrub is formulated with exfoliating powdered bamboo. This body scrub gently sloughs away calloused or flaky skin. Its sea algae extracts, herbal extracts and almond proteins are used to lift away impurities while leaving skin soft and suppie.
For me personally, I love the scent. Smells just like bamboo. It isn’t a strong scent so it didn’t hurt my head or my nose. I love how it feels on my body. I have sensitive skin so it didn’t irritate or hurt my skin whatsoever. It was so easy to apply and take off. Also, I love how my skin felt after showering and drying my skin. I have rough, dry skin and this helps to make my skin feel soft and alive.
As for the mask, it’s a super-hydrating mask to relieve stressed skin that has been over-exposed to environmental pollutants and nature’s harsh elements. It is blended with propolis extract, natural honey, nourishing minerals and vitamins.
This is an overnight mask that you put on and then wash off at night. I tend to get weary of products like these because some make me greasy and oily. This mask, thankfully, dd not make me feel sticky, greasy or oily. It works well with my sensitive skin and absorbs into my skin easily and quickly. It does hydrate my skin overnight without being too sticky or oily. I love how radiant my skin looks in the morning and how soft my skin feels. I love how “alive” I look with this mask.
Overall, I am a huge fan of this brand and these products.
DISCLAIMER: I bought these products at a discounted rare through PALM but all opinions are of my own, and as always, completely honest.
