Lather Survive and Thrive Review

Coming back right at you with another Lather review. You can get to know the brand and read my previous reviews here.

This month, I was able to try their Survive and Thrive holiday gift set. This holiday survival kit helps address the physical and mental stress we often experience during the busy winter season. Includes 4 products: Muscle ease gel with botanical pain relievers Net wt 2 oz, Cucumber & ginseng facial mist 2 fl oz, Inner peace meditation balm Net wt 1 oz, and Frankincense & sandalwood candle Net wt 4 oz. No parabens, sulfates, mineral oil or synthetic fragrance and colors. Never tested on animals.

The Muscle Ease Gel is a fast-acting topical pain reliever that works immediately once massaged into affected areas to provide temporary pain relief. Contains menthol and camphor for producing a cooling and soothing sensation, aloe vera, witch hazel and yucca for moisturizing and soothing the skin, and rose water to freshen the skin. Vegan.

The Inner Peace Meditation Balm is an all-natural aromatherapy balm that combines balancing, grounding and relaxing essential oils with skin-conditioning emollients

Contains vetiver and cypress essential oils that are recommended for stress and difficulty unwinding, bergamot, orange and ylang ylang essential oils for an uplifting aroma, olive and sunflower oils to protect skin from environmental stressors, and calendula oil to calm sensitive skin. Vegetarian. Frankincense & Sandalwood Candle is an oil-infused soy wax aromatherapy candle that’s scented with grounding and calming essential oils. Paraffin-free. 100% soy-based wax that burns at a lower temperature and more slowly than conventional candles made with beeswax. Wicks are 100% spun cotton and primed in beeswax, free of lead and zinc. Vegetarian. And finally, the Cucumber & Ginseng Facial Mist is a herbal refreshing mist for the face. Contains cucumber and aloe extracts that refreshes and tones the skin, algae and witch hazel extract that cleans and tightens the pores, ginseng extract that helps to stimulate and revitalize facial skin. Great for use after shaving and cleansing to tone and refresh skin. Alcohol-free and lightly scented with cucumber, vetiver and ylang ylang oils. Vegan.

The Muscle Ease Gel is amazing. I tend to get sore around my feet area and my back so all I have to do is massage this into my skin and I feel better about 10 minutes later. My back doesn’t feel as sore as it was so I carry it around me whenever my shoes hurt my ankles or when my arms/shoulders/back start to ache.

I get extremely chapped lips in the winter so this Inner Peace Meditation Balm is perfect. It feels great on my lips and helps me to keep them moisturized. I carried this with me all over New York and I did reapply throughout the day but nonetheless, my lips felt and looked amazing. It’s great for making my skin look and feel soft and I love how soft my lips look afterwards.

I have yet to use the candle but I love the packaging and I just think it’s so cute!

Finally, I used the Cucumber & Ginseng Facial Mist all break long/vacation long and it smells amazing. I tend to get dry during the winter and this helps to rejuvenate my skin and to wake it up. The scent isn’t too strong and I adore using this. I don’t re-mist (is that a word? lol) so I just spray it once in the morning and again at night before I sleep. My skin feels and looks amazing. I love the slight dewy look and I’m obsessed with it.

In general, I am obsessed with this kit

DISCLAIMER: I received this kit as part of a collaboration with Lather and Palm but all opinions are of my own and as always, completely honest.
