Lexli Review

I’m always open to trying new products and a new brand. I love discovering new products and seeing what products will work with my skin.

With that being said, I recently discovered Lexli. Lexli International Inc. was named after Dr. Abdullah’s twin sons, Alexi and Ali. This line is filled with formulating aloe-based skin care products. Lexli grew to encompass a full product line and was sold regionally thoughout North and South Dakota. And then, it was sold in various US markets via Dr. Abdullah’s friends’ surgical practices. Then, by 2008, Lexli had amassed thousands of loyal customers. They were successful through word of mouth and now they went from having customers in just a handful of states to selling in all 50 states and beyond.

The products I received from them are the Aloe Based Aloeglyc Renewing Exfoliant, the Aloe Based Day Moisturizer with SPF 15, the Aloe-Based Cleansing Lotion, and the Aloe-Based Day Moisturizer for Oily Skin.

We’ll start off with the Aloe Based Aloeglyc Renewing Exfoliant. This product is formulated with a base of organic, pharmaceutical-grade aloe vera and glycolic acid. This exfoliator is perfect for noticeably brighter and softer skin without the risk of burn or redness. This product is great for sun-damaged and aging skin by smoothing skin texture, reducing hyperpigmentation and diminishing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

So this product was right – it did NOT burn my skin. Most exfoliators typically burn my skin or sting my skin a little and with this product, it was surprisingly gentle and I liked using it. I’m getting older. So I’m 25 and I know that’s not old but I’m started to slowly get wrinkles. I mainly have crow’s feet which is basically wrinkles around my eyes and I have slight wrinkles on my forehead. So this product didn’t diminish my wrinkles or at least, not yet. But I like how this product helped with my rough skin texture. My skin can get unpredictable sometimes and I tend to get rough skin texture here and there while being oily somehow. This product helped to make my skin soft without making me too greasy or oily. I was on vacation earlier this month and I STILL have a tan line from the beach so I mainly use this product to protect me from the sun. So far, my tan line is slowly going away and I haven’t been getting darker yet. And my skin hasn’t been getting damaged thankfully. I like how soft my skin feels with this product.

The next product that I use is the Aloe-Based Cleansing Lotion. This product is perfect for emulsifying dirt, makeup, excess oil and other debris sitting on the skin’s surface. It is formulated with a base of organic, pharmaceutical-grade aloe vera and it basically nurtures damaged skin. It preserves the skin’s protective acid mantle. It is also paraben-free.

So, I used this product first before I use their moisturizer. I use this product mainly at night but sometimes, I’ll use it in the morning. I have no complaints about this cleansing lotion. It doesn’t even feel like a lotion product at all. I just used this product on my face and massaged it in and then, washed it off. I do notice that this product helps to get rid of excess makeup and I like how soft it is on my skin. It doesn’t irritate my skin whatsoever. I think it does a great job with removing makeup and dirt without being too rough on my skin.

I use the Aloe Based Day Moisturizer with SPF 15 in the morning. It’s a fast-absorbing and light enough to wear every day. It protects skin from 93% of sun’s harmful UV rays. It’s paraben-free and leaves skin feel softer.

So I really like how fast-absorbing this product is. It literally lives up to its name. I love products that are lightweight and easy to blend in. This product is definitely lightweight and so easy to blend. I also like how soft my face feels after. I have oily skin in the summer and this product surprisingly didn’t make my skin oily or greasy. It didn’t feel like lotion either nor was it as thick as lotion. It worked well with my sensitive skin and I genuinely liked it. It made my face radiant and alive. My skin is always dull and people often ask me if I’m tired so with this product, my skin is refreshed and radiant. I really like it!

Finally, I used the Aloe-Based Day Moisturizer for Oily Skin. This product is specifically for oily skin so it’s oil-free, aloe-based and a lightweight formulation. It regulates the skin’s oil level while locking in vital moisture. It minimizes the appearance of large pores and makes the skin hydrated and comfortable without being greasy.

I use this specific product at night after I use the cleanser. So, I’m not sure why but this product actually stung my skin a little. It didn’t sting dramatically nor did it hurt that bad but it did sting my skin for a little bit. I thought that was weird because the SPF 15 one didn’t sting me whatsoever. The sting was only for the first two times but after that, it didn’t sting again. Maybe my skin just needed to get used to this product? But in general, I really like how lightweight it is. I love products that are lightweight because I hate when I can feel a product on my face. With this product, I didn’t feel it on my face and my skin absorbed it quickly. Aside from the little sting in the beginning, I didn’t have too much problems with this product. I like how my skin looked radiant in the morning when I woke up. I naturally have dull skin so I always go for products that make my akin look alive so that I can stop getting the “you look tired” look. I like how this product didn’t make me oily r greasy and it was just thin on my face. It’s effective and I genuinely like it. I haven’t seen a difference with my pores yet but I’m sure if I continue to use it, I’ll see a difference.

In general, I am loving this brand! I think these products work well with my skin and I love that they work well with my skin type. Aside from the Day Moisturizer for Oily Skin, these products worked well with my sensitive skin. I think these products are effective, beneficial and make a difference on my skin. In general, I do recommend this brand and these products!
