  • Travel With Me To: Our Montgomery Center AirBnb

The past few posts have been all about Vermont. I decided to make a post about the place we stayed at while in Vermont. It was a cute two-story cabin in Montgomery Center which was about 10-15 minutes away from Jay Peak. We booked the place through airbnb. The owner actually lived to the house next to us but we arrived later the first day, so he wasn’t there to greet us, which was fine! My family wanted to rent a cabin out because it just reminded us about our little cottage in Cape Cod. It’s a two-story cabin but…

    Blue Patterns

After we went snowboarding, we went to the water park to see how much tickets were. (You can read about our snowboarding adventure here in THIS POST.) A random guy went up to us and gave us two free tickets that were only available for just that day! It was only about 2PM so we decided to go to the water park that day instead of the next day. The water park didn’t close until 9PM so we knew we had plenty of time. Our ARNBNB host gave us a discount on the water park tickets so instead of everybody…

Travel With Me To: Jay Peak Ski Resort (Snowboarding)

My family and I went to Vermont for a couple days to go snowboarding. The place we went to was Jay Peak Ski Resort. We went right after Christmas and came home two days later, so this post has actually been delayed a bit! The last time I went snowboarding was a few years ago and I cut my lip from falling on my face. Needless to say, my first time snowboarding was horrible. I was a little nervous about going again because I didn’t want to cut my lip again so the entire time I was in line, buying…

Pink & White (Vermont Day 3)

Last day here in Vermont. Time definitely went by fast but nonetheless, I had fun. We spent the morning cleaning up and eating. My boyfriend woke up around 6AM to make breakfast for everyone but of course, I slept in until 9AM and growled at him every time he tried to wake me up. Oops. I ended up making myself a turkey sandwich and eating leftovers from last night. I had packed the night before so I didn’t really have much to pack. I just tried to make sure we left the cabin nice and clean. The ride back was…

    Gray (Vermont Day 2)

My family and I woke up around 8AM. I didn’t have a good night sleep. I kept tossing and turning. It was freezing and I kept hearing strange noises throughout the night, so I was scared to sleep. I felt safe because my boyfriend was sleeping next to me but it didn’t stop me from hearing strange noises. I ended up finding out after I woke up that my sister and her fiancé were awake, hence the noises. We all started to get dressed for snowboarding. My boyfriend decided to stay at the cabin and game, which was a bummer…
