Peter Thomas Roth Potent C Power Serum Review

I was able to test out Peter Thomas Roth’s Potent C Power Serum.

Before I begin this review, I do want to explain the brand for those of you who may not know this brand.

Peter Thomas Roth is the founder and creator. He had a passion for skin care and it derived from his quest to find effective products to treat his own personal skin care concerns. His main concern used to be acne but later on, he realized he was dealing with ant-aging issues. His brand later evolved into finding the best tools to combat acne, the many signs of aging as well as protecting the skin from sun damage. Basically, he wanted to combine effective and potent ingredients with advanced technology.

As for the serum, this serum is packed with 20% Vitamin C and is amplified by 3% Vitmain E and 2% Ferulic Acid. This serum was made to deliver a complete and advanced anti-aging, firming and brightening treatment. It’s also meant to help improve the look of fine lines, wrinkles, firmness, uneven skin tone, texture and brightness. It’s fragrance-free and non-irritating.

Now, time for my review.

I have sensitive skin so trust me when I say, I react quickly when something irritates my skin. Thankfully, this didn’t irritate my skin. It didn’t sting or burn my skin whatsoever. I absolutely love how there’s no fragrance because sometimes, I’m not a huge fan of scent. The actual product is somewhat thin but once you applied the product on my skin, I didn’t even feel the product. The product is smooth and feels soft on my skin.

The aftermath – my skin definitely felt moisturized. In the winter, I tend to get dry and dehydrated so this product helped to hydrate my skin and moisturize it. However, I haven’t seen an improvement on fine lines and wrinkles yet. But that’s because I only have them near my eye area and forehead and plus, I’ve only used this product for a full week. I think if I use this for a while, I’ll see a difference but I’ve only noticed a difference with my skin. The texture definitely improved and my skin definitely feels a lot softer. I also adore how my skin wasn’t irritated so this product was definitely sensitive-prone to my skin.

In general, it’s great for hydration and moisture but in general, I haven’t seen a difference in my wrinkles or fine lines.

I do like the product because it didn’t irritate my skin and it’s great to hydrate my skin. I will continue to use it to see if there’s a difference with my fine lines and eye wrinkles.
