To start off, please ignore the bandaid on my knee. I cut myself scratching, haha. But anyway, my skirt is “too short” for the office, but I wore it anyway. I’ve had this skirt in my office for months and have been trying to figure out when exactly I was going to wear it. It was 70 degrees here in Boston the other day, so I thought it was the perfect time to wear my skirt. I’m obsessed with anything patterned or striped. I love this checkered-swing like skirt. This skirt is somewhat of a peplum skirt and I just adore it. Most of you know that I normally don’t wear yellow but this skirt is an exception! I adore the black, yellow and white combination. It’s so cute!

For my top, I kept it simple. I just threw on a gray camisole, because I couldn’t find black or white. Normally, I would have paired it up with a black camisole to match it better but this light gray color works!

Because my skirt is “too short,” I did throw on a cardigan that was much longer than the skirt. For anyone who wants to wear a skirt in the office but it’s “too short,” I recommend layering it with a long cardigan. This long cardigan will cover your butt for any time that you bend down and will prevent your underwear from showing. Also, it makes the outfit look more professional. This beige color goes perfectly with yellow, black, white and gray. I know at first glance, the colors don’t look great together but I genuinely like these colors together.

As for shoes, I wore black flats (of course, not shown). This day felt like Spring so of course, I’m going to go all out. The black flats were worn to match the black stripes. In general, this is one of my favorite outfits.
