TAHNYC : BeSpoke Beauty Set Review

As you may tell, I am very into skincare so big thank you to Palm (as always) for introducing a new brand to me.
TAHNYC is pronounced as Tonic, first of all. I’ve been pronouncing it as “tahnic” until I was finally corrected (haha). It is synonymous with being restorative. Their main goal is help you with healthy glowing skin every day. They believe that Dermal Wellness and Dermal Science work together in harmony and they are Chicago-based. A fun fact about this brand is that the founder, Irene, tests every single product on her face. She has severe skin sensitivity and allergies so if her skin reacts, they won’t put the product out. TAHNYC has a deep passion to help others. They reach out to customers via email just to check in and see how they’re feeling. Also, their essences are steam distilled in small batches and are used for their amazing nourishing skin benefits. TAHNYC has a signature Dew consistency where they do not like to add bulking, filling, texturizing add-ons to their products. Every ingredient has a purpose and there’s never anything extra. The brand is made without parabens, sulfates, phthalates, synthetic preservatives, colorants and fragrances. Also, all products are made in the USA and not tested on animals.

I decided to try the Bespoke skincare set because well, I love skincare! This set is focused in uneven skin tone, calm redness, heal and restore skin radiance, dryness and fine lines. This set includes a cleanse, mist, correct serum and a hydrating moisturizer, all labelled in the correct order to use them. Bespoke is focused on skin love, skin replenishing ingredients such as Peptides, Niacinamide, Vitamin B5, HyaluronicAcid,NaPCA (sodium pca) and Ceramides. They use Peptides not to address anti-aging and fine lines but to help skin heal, reduce dark spots and hyper-pigmentation, improve radiance, calm and soothe.

So in the set, it starts off with a cleanser which is a gentle micellar cleanser. It’s a lightweight “water” like cleanser that’s powerful enough to remove makeup, but super gentle.

I genuinely like this cleanser. At first, I thought this product was just water because it felt like water but I did notice my skin felt a little softer and I noticed that this product helped to remove the excess makeup and dirt off. I love how gentle it is on my face and after using it a few times, I like how it feels like water. It doesn’t hurt my skin whatsoever so I’m glad it’s lifghtweight and gentle.

The mist is a calming face mist to use before and after makeup.

This face mist absorbs into my skin easily and I don’t even feel the product on my face once it’s dried. I like how it hydrates my skin and makes me look healthy, radiant and “alive.”

For the correcting serum, it is a concentrated corrective complex that includes all the good stuff to tone, brighten, smooth, even out and more.

I genuinely like this product the most because although it is a serum, it feels more like a moisturizer because it’s not too liquidy, if that makes sense. It’s very lightweight and works well with my sensitive skin. It absorbs into my skin easily and quickly and doesn’t sting any of my acne/pimple scars.

Finally, the moisturizer is a creamy moisturizer and concentrated.

After the correcting serum, the moisturizer is my second favorite. This moisturizer does the trick and is lightweight. It’s very creamy but does not make my skin feel oily, greasy or disgusting whatsoever. I don’t feel the product on my face and I really like it.

In general, I’ve noticed that my skin feels softer and radiant. I haven’t seen a difference with my fine lines but I like how my skin looks after I use it. It’s radiant, alive, moisturized and soft.

DISCLAIMER: These products were in part of a collaboration with TAHNYC and Palm but all opinions are of my own and as always, completely honest.

Your thoughts on Lux and contour. I am 62 and looking for a skin care for wrinkles.
