A Casual Pink Dress for Dinner

A Casual Pink Dress for Dinner

I was in DC for a couple of nights, so I went looking for a casual place to have dinner.

I ended up being too shy and scared to sit down at the restaurant and ordered food to go. But the restaurant I went to is called Bonsai Sushi. I was craving sushi and I didn’t want to go to a fancy restaurant by myself, especially since I didn’t have any formal outfits.

I really wanted Italian food but was too scared for that so I walked to the sushi restaurant, which was a 5 minute walk from my hotel. It was packed by the time I got there so I decided to just order food to go.

It was a little sprinkling so I didn’t want to wear an outfit that was formal or too dressed up so this dress was perfect for a casual dinner.

I took photos at the hotel because I was too shy to take my tripod and take photos outside. I am a big ball of anxiety, I’m sorry! I am working on it.

The dress is lightweight and somewhat see-through. You can definitely see my tights line underneath, but that’s okay. The color of this dress is still so cute and I love the little buttons, so I absolutely was fine with that.

I do plan on wearing this dress again because I’m obsessed with the color! I might wear it again in the Spring.

I wore this dress with a cardigan, the same one I always wear, as seen in many blog posts and instagram photos. It was cold and sprinkling outside and even though I was only going to be outside for 5 minutes, I still wanted to be bundled up.

Thanks for reading.

xoxo, Linda
