Come with me to a keshi Concert in DC on 3/11/23

This is round 3 of my keshi concerts.

I arrived in DC via airplane the night before on 3/10/23. I arrived the day before so I had time to relax, eat dinner and so forth. When I went to Miami, I went straight to the airbnb to get ready for the concert and I realized how exhausting that was. I need time to relax!

So I spent Friday night going to a museum and then eating sushi at my hotel. It was relaxing and it was much needed.

The next day, Saturday, the day of the show, I went to a nearby cafe to do work. I was behind on blog posts so I decided to spend a few hours catching up with my personal work and editing TikToks. I knew this was going to be the only time I had to myself so I took advantage of it. I did not do anything touristy. I’ve been to DC so many times that I basically know where everything and anything is, so I decided to discover a new cute cafe.

I spent a few hours at the cafe and headed back to the hotel and relaxed for a little bit before getting ready for the concert. You can see my outfit post in this post here.

The concert started at 8 so that’s when I ordered an Uber, because I really didn’t care about the opening acts. When I arrived, there was still a line but it moved fairly quickly and the employers were so nice!

I got in right around 8:30pm when the second opening act came on, Weston Estate. I stood at the back of the venue and honestly couldn’t see. I stared at the big screen the entire time but I just really did not want to be around people or smothered. I did end up standing next to a girl with red hair and she said hi to me and I basically hung around her and her friend the entire time. They were so cute! They were dancing and letting loose and drinking and just having fun!

I tried to stand behind short people because I’m short but people kept moving and tall people kept getting in my way, but I ended up finding a good enough spot while still being near the two girls I met.

Keshi went on around 9:35pm. So the wait time from his second opening act and his act was brutal but I stayed on my phone the entire time and just people watched. The concert was at the Anthem, which was near the Wharf, near the water. The venue was bigger than I expected. It had a general admission floor for 3 floors! And seated seats. He sold out the show with 6,000 people! So proud of keshi.

Anyway, keshi came on and I just let loose. Took photos and videos but ultimately got lost in the music. The show was on time and there were a group of teenage boys who were letting loose and dancing too and I just thought that was adorable. I love seeing people let loose and have fun. That’s what makes a concert worth it!

I ended up losing the two girls I was dancing with because the group of boys got in between us, but it was fine. The whole point was to see keshi and he did phenomenal. Took his shirt off too, haha. And he seemed to be enjoying himself.

The concert ended right before 11 and I met my uber driver a block away to avoid traffic and I got home and just rewatched all of my videos and photos. They were all of the screen but no biggie, still had the time of my life.

Thanks for reading.

xoxo, Linda
