I love wearing cropped tops but the ones I wear to work, I make sure are completely appropriate. I would never wear a crop top and have my boobs exposed out. Of course, if your job allows you, that’s perfectly fine but at my work place, we’re somewhat business casual but we’re not strict or conservative so typically, we’re allowed to wear what we want as long as it’s appropriate for an office setting.
My blue striped cropped top looks like a regular top. I am obsessed with the little tie/belt because I think it adds character. I love that it completes my outfit and it just makes the top look even cuter. I am obsessed with the way it looks. The top is somewhat light, somewhat chiffon so I had to wear a camisole underneath so that bra didn’t show. I love the fabric and love that it’s not too thick.
As for my pants, they are high waisted. I wore these pants purposely because it covered my stomach so therefore, you couldn’t tell that my blue striped top was cropped. I love the way these pants outline my body. They’re tight but they’re not skinned tight and I wore beige to match with the light blue and watch. I think beige goes with everything and so, that’s why I decided to wear beige pants instead.
For my shoes, I did wear black flats because I wanted to match with the little black belt.
I think to get away with wearing cropped tops to work, you have to make sure you are wearing high waist pants and that they cover your stomach and then, it’s easier to wear cropped tops!
