Chicwish Spring Review 2022

With Spring now here, I’m excited to come back with another Chicwish review. I’m so excited about it because all of these clothes gear towards the spring.

You may have seen my previous Chicwish post. If not, I will link it down here so that you can catch up. I received 8 different pieces: ROSE BUD EMBOSSED RUFFLE EDGE FITTED TOP, FALL IN LOVE JACQUARD PLEATED SKIRT IN RED, LUSH LEAVES CROCHET TOP IN PINK & HONEYCOMB EMBOSSED A-LINE SKIRT IN IVORY, TWEED ASYMMETRIC MINI SKIRT IN PINK & FUZZY LACE CHIFFON SPLICED BOWKNOT TOP, FLARE HEM BOWKNOT WAIST MIDI SKIRT IN PINK, & KNIT RUFFLED MESH CAMI DRESS IN DUSTY PINK.

ROSE BUD EMBOSSED RUFFLE EDGE FITTED TOP. I really love this top. It’s very fitted and semi cropped, so if you were looking for a top that wasn’t cropped, I probably wouldn’t recommend this to you. I love tight fitting clothes so this top was a match made in heaven for me. I have no issues with the sizing and the fitting. It fit perfectly on me and I’m obsessed with the rose buttons. I am wearing a size extra small and it wasn’t tight on me whatsoever. I do think it is true to size. I just paired this up with black pants but in the future, I’m going to wear this again with a hot pink blazer because I’m going for a little pop of color but in general if you don’t want to wear a jacket, this top is already a statement piece, so you can wear it alone or you can wear it with a jacket. That’s perfectly fine for spring. I really love this top and I highly recommend it.

FALL IN LOVE JACQUARD PLEATED SKIRT IN RED. This skirt is probably my favorite item out of all the 8 pieces I received. Just look at the hearts. It’s so perfect for Valentine’s Day but unfortunately I received it after Valentine’s day but it doesn’t matter because I’m still obsessed with it. It’s such a great statement piece. I highly recommend having a statement piece in your closet and I really loved the skirt. It was just the perfect statement piece in my opinion. I did get this in a size extra small. It wasn’t too tight on me, it wasn’t loose, it was a perfect fit. It was somewhat cold when I wore this skirt so I pair it up with tights and a cropped sweater.  I really love this red and black look. It’’s great for the winter, the spring, the summer and you can also wear it for the fall. I did wear it a couple days after spring started and it was just perfect. It kept me warm but I still kept tights on in case I got cold. It’s a little heavy because the materialis thick, so it will keep you warm when it’s cold and in general. I’m just obsessed with this skirt. You need this in your closet.

LUSH LEAVES CROCHET TOP IN PINK & HONEYCOMB EMBOSSED A-LINE SKIRT IN IVORY. For this outfit, I combined these two pieces together. I thought it would look good together and in my opinion I think it did. I love the crochet top and I love this shade of pink. It was a little tight. I did have trouble putting it on but once I had it on it was perfect. I just love the style and the fabric. It’s great, you can wear it in the spring, in the summer. You can also style it in the fall but I wore it right before spring started. The material is a little thick so it will keep you a little warm when it’s chilly out but not too warm. I decided to pair it up with this skirt because I thought they look great together and in my opinion, it does look great together. This skirt is long so you don’t technically need to wear shorts or tights underneath. I was just a little cold so I decided to wear tights anyway but I love these two items together. I feel like it really worked together and I’m obsessed with the skirt. The material is thick. It’s not see-through. It is a tiny little bit heavy but that just means you can wear it in the fall and in the winter I really love this ivory color and I just love the length. I normally wear short skirts but this length – I just couldn’t say no. It was new to me and I’m glad I got it. And yes, it does come with the belt, so that’s also a plus. This skirt also has honeycomb-like embossing, a pleated front, a flare hem and a concealed back zip closure. 

TWEED ASYMMETRIC MINI SKIRT IN PINK & FUZZY LACE CHIFFON SPLICED BOWKNOT TOP. I paired these two items together because I thought they would look great together. I saw this tweed asymmetric mini skirt all over Instagram, so I just knew I needed to get it. When I first got the skirt, I didn’t realize it was actually a scort. Shorts are attached to the skirt and honestly that made it even better. I love skirts that are actually shorts because that means I don’t have to worry about my skirt flying up or anything like that. I did still wear shorts underneath just for extra protection and I wore tights. When I wore this outfit, it was still winter time so I wanted to look fashionable but still warm at the same time and this entire outfit helped keep me warm. It actually wasn’t that cold. I want to say maybe 40° but to some people it is cold but for me I don’t think it was cold but also I bundled up with tights. I really love the color and I really love the style, the materials, the fabric. I highly recommend it for the summer and for the spring. I just recommend it in general. It’s so cute. You need it in your closet. The skirt comes with a pocket, which I am obsessed with. There is a zipper so don’t worry about it falling or anything. It is so easy to zip up and put on and take off. I love this so much. You can pair the skirt with literally anything and everything. I just paired up with the chiffon top. As for the top, I really love the top as well. It’s really loose fitting but I decided to pair it up with the skirt anyway. Maybe the outfit would look better with a tighter top but I decided to wear the top anyway. I really love the design. I love the color. I love the fabric and the material. I thought it was just perfect for me and I really love the bowknot as well as. I felt like the bowknot made it more unique. It’s very lightweight and so easy to put on at takeoff. It’s a little bit stretchy. I highly recommend. You can dress it up or dress it down and my outfit, I dressed it up and I paired it up with pink boots. I also love the sleeves and the Cuffs. I thought they were perfect in general. The top was so cute and I highly recommend. I love tops that stand out and that are a statement piece and this was honestly a statement piece. I am obsessed with it. 

FLARE HEM BOWKNOT WAIST MIDI SKIRT IN PINK. I am obsessed with bows if you couldn’t tell. The skirt comes with a cute little bow. I love this shade of pink. I was a little worried about the length because I normally wear short skirts but after I put this on. I fell in love. The material is not see-through at all so you have to worry about that. I love the material and the fabric. I love the feel of the skirt as well. It is so perfect. I paired this up with a polka-dot shirt and I kind of regret it because looking back, they don’t go well together. I should’ve worn a basic top to make the skirt stand out but in general, I love this skirt. I love the hem and yes, there is a back zipper.

KNIT RUFFLED MESH CAMI DRESS IN DUSTY PINK. I was obsessed with this dress when I first saw it on the website. I was like, I need to get this because it’s so cute. It literally screamed my name because this is something I would wear in general and I’m just so obsessed with it and I was so excited for it to come in the mail. I felt like a princess in this dress and the length is perfect. The material is perfect. The fabric is perfect. The style is perfect. In general, this is a very perfect dress and I’m obsessed with it and love the shade and I just didn’t want to take it off because it was so perfect. I highly recommend getting a statement dress in your closet. This is definitely my statement dress and I’m so excited to wear it again. I can’t wait to wear it out to dinner or to a night out because this dress is just perfect for any occasion. It has a knit top part, tiered mesh finished, elastic waistband and asymmetric hemline.

In general I recommend chicwish. The quality of each item is amazing so I do recommend shopping from them. I do recommend checking them out. They have a variety of different clothing for you to choose from. There is seriously something for everyone. I am obsessed with every item I received and I can’t wait to continue wearing them.
