Come with me to the keshi Concert in Orlando, Florida on 3/5/23

This is round two of the Hell and Back Tour with keshi.

Okay, so I had a bus to take from Miami to Orlando at 8:25am, so I checked out at 7:45am out of my airbnb and uber to the location. It was only a 5 minute uber!

I took the Flixbus and sat right next to the window. It was a pretty chill bus ride. I rested on the bus but when it got closer to the Orlando location, there was a screaming child behind me so I put on my airpops and drowned them out. I did forget my water bottle so that sucks!

We got dropped off at one of the outlets in Orlando and I walked to Starbucks not knowing that there wasn’t a “dine in”. I was hoping to do work there but nope. I ordered Starbucks and waited out in the hot, googling cafes to go to and then found a boba place near by and uber there.

I stayed there until 3pm and the poke there was delicious and so was the strawberry shake that I ordered. It was a cute atmosphere. I wish I took more photos but I was shy. It got busy after 20 minute and I got nervous but I just pretended to be cool.

Anyway, ubered to my airbnb and took a nap. Woke up around 5:30pm to get ready for the Orlando concert. I was fully prepared to leave at 7pm but I made the mistake of checking twitter and saw a few people say the concert is disorganized and late so I waited to head to the concert.

People were complaining and then, around 7:30pm, someone said the opening act was on stage so I ordered my uber. I left during a DOWNPOUR. It was raining hard when I left and when I got to the venue (20 min from my airbnb), it was still downpouring. I got to the venue around 8:15pm.

I wasn’t too soaked because I had my cardigan covering me but my hair still got wet and stained my clothes. Thankfully, it wasn’t noticeable because I had my cardigan on. But this is the downside of having red hair. Plus, I didn’t have a scrunchy so I had to let my hair down unfortunately.

The concert was inside a fairground so after I went through security, I asked someone for help but she didn’t know where it was so I kept walking. I asked two (drunk?) girls where it was and they were so sweet and showed me where and how to check in. Got to security, showed my ticket, got a wristband and went inside.

I forgot amphitheaters were on grass so my feet got wet and slightly muddy when I walked into the venue. I stood on pavement diagonal of the stage but I did get a good view of the stage and NO ONE stood near me, which was good because I could dance and not feel smothered.

I had no idea both of the opening acts went on so when music started playing and everyone was chanting, “keshi! Keshi! Keshi!” I was so confused. That’s when I realized I missed both of the acts. But keshi came on time. He arrived at 8:40pm and played a full set. He was done right around 10pm.

He was amazing. At the Miami concert, he skipped the intro song so it was so nice to finally hear it live. He did not have technical issues and you could hear him SING. He was energetic and engaged with the crowd. He even took his shirt off, haha.

It stopped raining right before he came on stage but I still wore my cardigan because I didn’t want to carry it.

In general, keshi was so much better this time around than during miami. He seemed happier and more enaging. The concert was a little disorganized but nonetheless, still so much fun! I stood near people who were fully lost in the music and dancing their hearts out. Makes me so happy. 🙂

I didn’t want to stay for the carnival so I ubered home. It took 20 minutes because everyone was leaving too but still fun nonetheless.

The concert was at the Orlando Amphitheater in the Florida Fairgrounds and it was confusing at first to find the venue, but overall fun. I absolutely loved this experience so much more and can’t wait to see him at more shows!

Thanks for reading.

xoxo, Linda
