This was taken last week and it actually wasn’t that cold outside. I would say it was about 50° so I didn’t feel like I needed to wear tights so I am bare legged in this outfit and a lot of my other outfits, I do have fleece tights on, but in this outfit, I just have bare legs because it was 50° out. I didn’t feel like I needed to layer up all that much.

It was a little chilly but nothing I couldn’t bear so for this outfit, I am wearing a skirt. The skirt is part of a two piece set, but I decided to style it differently and just wear the skirt only without the top, and then I paired the skirt up with a bodysuit. You’ve probably already seen this bodysuit in a lot of my outfit posts recently because I wear it all the time, and then I decided to pair it up with a blazer. I love blazer dresses, but I decided to wear this blazer, as a regular blazer jacket instead of a blazer dress. I really love this neutral color. With the polkadots, I feel like it ties in different colors and different designs together and I’m really obsessed with the way it came out. Of course I just paired it up with black knee-high boots because I really want to match the black polkadots.

I love taking photos during golden hour because after I come home and look at all the photos, I don’t actually have to edit that much. All to say is that lighting is very important because with the right lighting, you don’t have to edit that much. When I hate the lighting, I always over edit, and I always have to edit the contrast, the brightness and the sharpness, and so forth. With golden hour, I just tweak it a little bit. I just make certain colors pop and in general, I do very minimal edits and I’m so obsessed with the outcome most of the time. You still have to be careful with lighting again if it is too bright but with these photos, my sister did such a great job and the photos came out great.

I’m so excited for spring that I’ve been dressing like spring lately and I know I haven’t been dressing like winter for the past couple months, but that’s just because I really hate winter and I prefer fall and spring, so I’ve been dressing more like spring than winter. And in the fall, I try to dress more fall than winter so I don’t really have any winter outfits but hopefully you guys still enjoy this spring outfit.

Anyways, I’m so excited for spring. This outfit is just a sneak peek for all of my future spring outfits. I’m so excited for warmer weather.

Do you guys like taking photos during golden hour?

Thanks for reading.
