Love + Sage : Organic Tint + Balm Duo Review

At this point, you guys should just assume that every brand I post about was introduced to me by Palm. Most of the products and brand I’ve discovered are from Palm and I’m so glad that they keep introducing me to these brands.

This brand is called Love + Sage. It was founded by Sage Lehman who is a New York native. She was born and bred in Manhattan and now lives in Brooklyn with her husband and two children. She is a firm believer in all-natural skin care. She’s been making homemade body care products for family and friends in her kitchen for fifteen years and after being frustrated about lip care products, she decided to make her own. She and her family completely run this company and this brand is made of all natural and organic ingredients.

So I received two products from Love + Sage. Their lip balms are formulated with natural non-toxic ingredients using organic sources. It contains coconut oil, beeswax, and plant-based oils. The products are silky, long lasting, and leave your lips feeling soother and protected. The products are also perfect for smooth texture and moisturizing.

So the two products I received are Sunday Morning and Beach Rose.

Sunday Morning is a non-tinted sensitive lips formula. It has a nice scent of bergamot and rose. And it’s great for moisturizing the lips.

I personally don’t have sensitive lips but I do have dry lips. My lips are constantly dry no matter the season and weather. I love the Sunday Morning balm because it helps to keep my lips moisturized, smooth and creamy. My lips feel great all day. I typically only reapply after I eat/drink but in general, it’s long lasting and perfect for my dry lips. I personally don’t have sensitive lips but it is recommended for those who do have them so with this product, you don’t necessarily have to worry about this product hurting your lips. I also love the scent as well!

With Beach Rose, it is a tinted lip balm that adds a touch of pink to your lips and has a slight scent of rose and vanilla. This balm adds a natural UV protection.

For me, personally, the lip balm slightly showed the touch of pink. It wasn’t a noticeable color but you did have to stare at my lips closely to actually see the color. It worked well on my skin, just not on my lips (color wise) but I wasn’t mad about it! In general, the product glides smoothly onto my skin and lasts pretty long. I love how moisturized my lips are and how soft they are after I use this product. Perfect for my dry lips but also adds a touch of color. And I’m obsessed with the scent!

In general, I’m crazy for these products.
