My Experience With Primark and College Fashion Week 2018

I’m super excited to mention to you all that I’ve partnered with Primark for this post!

For those of you who are new to my blog, I am in love with Primark. They are one of my favorite go-to stores. I think the only issue I really have with them is that they don’t offer online shopping but other than that, I adore them and I love shopping at their downtown Boston location. They do have a location in Burlington, MA as well. I typically go to both locations.

For those of you who do not know Primark or aren’t too familiar with it, Primark is a destination store for keeping up with the latest trends and styles without you having to break the bank. Their clothing and items are affordable. There’s an item for everyone basically from women to men to children to babies to teenagers to home décor, everything you need can be found at Primark! They originally were a popular store in Europe (they still are) but they have branched out to America with Boston being the first location to open in America in 2015. The Boston location has 4 floors and you won’t ever leave Primark without buying something. Their clothing is affordable, trendy and always up to date with the latest trends. To this date, Primark operates 330 stores in 11 countries and has clothing for all different sizes!

Okay, so last year, we were late for the event. We showed up 15 minutes before general admission. This year, we were early but thought we had to stand in line and so after 15 minutes, my best friend decided to just ask someone. The people in line had no idea there was VIP so they were confused and we decided to walk up to the front of the line and afterwards, we checked in and were rewarded with our goodie bags. We always end up either late or not following the right directions but I’m so glad we decided to ask instead of standing in line!

The place was absolutely gorgeous. There were so many “insta spots” for the perfect photo and this year, we got free drinks! Last year, we had to pay for our drinks and this year, they were free.

We just walked around and were in awe of everything. Both my sister and my best friend got their hair done and they told me to get mine done. The guy wanted to do my hair in a bun and I was a little nervous because I genuinely don’t think I look good in a bun. But my sister insisted so I said yes. I wish I got his name and social media accounts because he was a sweetheart and the bun only took 5 minutes. He gave me a braided messy bun, a braid in case I didn’t like the bun so I can take it out and still have a braided hairstyle but I was OBSESSED with my hair. I never like my hair up but I kept staring at myself and was like, “WHAT DID HE DO BECAUSE I AM OBSESSED.” I love my hair so much.

We found seating near the exit so that we can easily leave. I wish they added more seats because when general admission came in, they were all hovering around us during the show so it was uncomfortable. But in general, we kept going to the different booths and we loved all the samples they gave us! It was amazing!

Finally, the show began and there were so many gorgeous models and outfits. I wanted to buy every single outfit! Primark has so many styles and designs that you will not be disappointed with all that they have to offer!

In general, I had a great time at College Fashion Week. I just wished there were more chairs for everybody but nonetheless, it was fun.

I then went to Student Night in downtown Boston for the opening launch of Primark’s fall line. My best friend went with me and we took photos in the photo booth, danced with the DJ and even got cotton candy! I loved everything I saw at Primark. They have so many amazing clothes and great items to prepare you for the Fall and Winter. Their cotton candy was delicious and worth the wait! Afterwards, my best friend and I just walked around and went shopping before it was time for us to leave.

I absolutely adore Primark and completely recommend shopping there. They are slowly branching into America so if there’s not one in your location, be patient because I’m sure there will be one!
