You don’t want your loved one to get to the point where they can’t walk because they sat in their chair for too long without getting up and exercising over the years. Instead, you need to encourage them to get up and be active. Even an outing once per month to a museum or a park or something will encourage good, healthy behavior in the elderly. Take someone you love on a little visit somewhere and see how well they do.
