What I Wore to Work In 35 Degree Weather

I realized I never show my work fits so I want to start incorporating my work outfits, especially what I wear in 35 degree weather.

So the below photos are deceiving. I did in fact wear a sweater and coat, don’t worry. I really just wanted to show the fit without the outerwear.

First thing’s first, I always layer up. This was 35 degrees so I already layered with a sweater and a coat, that is, of course, not shown. What also is not shown is the fleece leggings I wore underneath my pants. These leggings are from a TikTok video. They, along with my denim pants, are both from Primark. Primark does not have an online store so I will do my best to find similar ones to link for you all.

The key to staying warm in the Northeast Region is layering. I try not to wear skin-tight pants in the winter or even for work so that the extra room gives me more space to layer up. When it hits below 40 degrees, such as this day when it was 35 degrees, I tend to wear fleece leggings or tights underneath all my pants. The extra layer is such a difference because my legs are never cold! Okay, maybe not never but I feel so warm! In order for your outfits to not look bulky, you need to make sure your pants are not skin tight and have room for layer. This outfit, you can actually tell that my pants are bulky, but it’s fine, it’s not too noticeable.

I decided to just wear a sleeveless bodysuit with a button up opened so that I can still look somewhat cute for work! I didn’t want to sacrifice style for warmth, so I was able to do both!

The earmuffs really pull the outfit together. The pink earmuffs were a gift but they’re from Amazon.

So this is what a typical work outfit looks like. This is what I wore to work in 35 degree weather.

What do your work outfits look like?

Thanks for reading.
