Have you ever thought ‘I’m paying far too much money for all these channels that I don’t watch? Join the queue! Many people think the same and therefore there is a TV revolution taking place. In the online world of today, many people are turning towards online streaming services for their TV wants and needs. This is because usually whole series are released at once, they are cheaper, and you can watch them anywhere not just at home. However, there are just so many options so what do you choose?

Leaving your cable provider might seem scary, but the cost for other forms of TV is so reduced it’s silly to not take the plunge. You need to decide on a budget, and you can do this by deducing what you do and don’t enjoy watching. Deciding you need to cut your dependency on cable TV can be very simple. Make a list of all the channels on your TV, then cross out any you haven’t ever watched. Then highlight the ones you watch more than fortnightly and see how much you are really paying for. The results are usually staggering. However, reducing your package might mean that the cost is still more than going cable free. So, there are still more steps to follow.

Many people rely on their phones for local updates with many of us having regular news popups telling us what is going on. The weather is also available on all phones at the touch of a button, so do we really need news channels? Many streams play online at the same time as they are broadcasting, so unless there is some reason why you need to tune into the TV instead of your phone for local news, we have got around that quickly!

Which provider to choose?

There are a lot of providers out there to choose from, but they don’t all offer the best deals. Sling TV is great for creating your TV package and has addons for the channels you do like for as little as $6! Yes $6, and monthly its cheaper than getting your nails done, so it’s a good deal.
