Styling a skirt in the winter? I know, I know. Who wants to wear a skirt in the winter?

This is a part two continuation of my previous post. I wanted to show you all how fleece leggings and tights look in a different outfit.

The difference between my previous outfit and this outfit is that this skirt is definitely more flowy. For those who are more worried about a bulky look, I recommend loose-fitting and/or flowy bottoms. With my skirt, you can’t even tell that I have leggings, tights and shorts underneath. So loose bottoms are perfect for all the layers and I highly recommend that option instead of something more tight.

With something more flowy, the layering becomes easier and the bulkiness disappears! You can definitely try this with maxi dresses and skirts and the bulkiness won’t even show. Of course, make sure the fabric of your bottoms aren’t thin or see-through so that you cannot see any undergarment lines or anything like that.

This is the perfect way to still look cute and warm in the winter. I wore this outfit in 40 degree weather and I wasn’t cold at all. If you live in colder climates, I recommend a thicker pair of leggings because the one I am wearing isn’t too thick. It’s thick but not thick enough for 10 degree weather.

A little secret? I spilled hot sauce on my skirt. Zoom in and you can see it haha.

But I do recommend the fleece leggings trend for the winter. You’ll see it all over social media, and it is worth trying because it is a great hack!

You can find many affordable ones basically anywhere. Most of mine are from Amazon but I do own a few from Primark, Target, TJ Maxx. You can find some anywhere. I believe the most affordable ones will be from Forever 21 and Amazon, but you can always try other outlets.
