Imagine if you had ten million dollars sitting in the bank. What would be the first thing you’d do? If you’ve been working hard for many years, you’d probably start by taking a well-deserved break. Things like traveling the world and staying in classy hotels would top your list of priorities.

Eventually, though, you’d get to the point where you’d want to do something. Living a life of luxury can be a lot of fun. But most extremely wealthy people also want to have a purpose. They need to feel like they’re going somewhere and continuing to generate value. 

Now imagine, though, that you’re low on energy. Even if you have all the money in the world, it doesn’t matter. Your lack of energy means that you’re forever unable to do the things you want. You’d like to start a charity or business, but you don’t have the get-up-and-go to make it happen. 

Energy is the limiting factor in the lives of many people. They have the will and the intellect to get the life that they want. But they don’t feel like their bodies will allow them to do it.

But you can only successfully modify your eating habits if you’re basically happy in the first place. 

If you feel low on energy, the best approach is to deal with the issue simultaneously to get yourself out of a rut. Think about what you have control over and start moving to deal with those issues in your life. Take them all on at the same time so you can benefit from synergies.
